WordPress training document – how to create a WordPress website.
Here are some useful practices to follow when designing an accessible webpage/document.
Here is a great website with advice on colour schemes that help people who are colour blind.
Free image websites:
unsplash is a great site for beautiful photos
pixabay – particularly good for vector images e.g. cliparts
vecteezy is a great website for graphics
thenounproject is excellent for icons
pngtree (has some good laboratory images) but has a daily download limit unless you pay
Wikimedia commons can be really useful – not for beautiful images necessarily but for more technical images
Wikipedia itself can also be a good source of images. Again, just make sure you follow the rules of the licence. e.g. for the page on tyrosine, if you click on the image of the molecular structure (red arrow)…

…then the image file will open and at the bottom of that page will be the details of the author and the licence.
You can see this image is public domain – i.e. anyone can use it for any purpose. Others might have a licence that requires you to attribute the author.
